Artist’s Terms and Conditions

Introduction

By applying to submit art on KiwiArtGallery, the Artist consents to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Application Process

Online application to the Exhibitions Management Team requires that Artist upload three (3) photographs of artwork onto the Application to submit artwork page. Successful applicants will be notified within 10 days by email.

All Applicants must be over 18 years of age.

The application process is free.

Membership

Artist Membership – NZ$ 15 per month (minimum 12 months in advance)

This fee includes GST.

12 months commitment date commences on approval of the application. Should an artist choose to close their page , KiwiArtGallery requests one month’s notice.

There will be no refunds.

Failure to pay these fees by the due date will result in the removal of all artist’s details from KiwiArtGallery‘s website.

Artist Responsibilities

It is the Artist’s responsibility to keep their account information up-to-date and accurate at all times.

The artist is responsible for invoicing, insuring, packaging costs and delivery of their products. KiwiArtGallery is not involved in this procedure.

It is expected by KiwiArtGallery that artists reply to potential buyers within three (3) working days. The Artist must deliver the art work/s within 14 days to the Buyer. If there are delays for any reason, it is the Artist’s responsibility to communicate with Buyer.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in the Artist’s account being permanently removed from the Website.

If an artist for any reason is unable to fulfill orders, the holiday status on the my account page must be ticked.

Artists may not upload any content or images that were not created by them personally. Uploaded images must be representative of Artist's works. Content that is deemed unlawful, harmful, abusive, obscene, pornographic or otherwise objectionable is not acceptable. Breaching of these requests will result in the Artist’s account being closed.

Artists may delete artwork images and once sold, must be marked as SOLD. Kiwiartgallery will not keep any deleted images.

All new uploaded images will be approved by Site Administrator before publishing. It may take 3-5 working days.

All images must be clear, clean and cropped. If submitted images don’t meet KiwiArtGallery standard, then will be given an opportunity to resubmit.

KiwiArtGallery shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the Artist by the infringement of their copyright or other intellectual property rights.
