Why sell my art with KiwiArtGallery?
Promotion of art is a new concept for many artists who in the past have preferred relative anonymity. Having a web page with KiwiArtGallery is an easy way to get known amongst your peers, art lovers and galleries. KiwiArtGallery provides the means of selling artwork at no charge or commission but a relatively small fee is charged to artists to provide and maintain their web page.
How do I sell my art with KiwiArtGallery?
To retain a high quality standard, all artistic displays on KiwiArtGallery are subject to the discretion of the Exhibitions Management Team. Application to the Exhibitions Management Team requires that you upload three (3) photographs of your artwork onto the Sell Art page.
How much does it cost to submit an application?
There is no charge by KiwiArtGallery for submitting an application.
What if my work is not approved by KiwiArtGallery?
It simply means that KiwiArtGallery does not believe the samples you sent are a good fit for the gallery. We request that artists stay in touch and keep us updated as their artwork evolves.
As an approved artist of KiwiArtGallery, can I list my artwork on other websites?
Yes. We do not require exclusivity.
What artwork does the gallery accept?
We are currently only accepting original Paintings, Drawings, Printmaking, Ceramics, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Photography, Glass & Wood, Jewellery and Maori Arts.
What does it cost to sell my art with KiwiArtGallery?
Artist Membership is NZ$ 15 incl.GST per month (minimum 12 months in advance)
Can I add a link to my KiwiArtGallery web page?
No. Unfortunately we do not allow any links to any personal portfolio web pages.
Can I remove my art for a short period if I have an exhibition booking, holiday etc.?
You don’t need to remove your art. If for any reason you are unable to fulfill orders, you can mark your gallery as unavailable until your return back.
If I sell my artwork do I need to remove/delete it from KiwiArtGallery?
You have a choice to delete or mark it as “SOLD“ but we recommend you keep it on your web page as “SOLD“ in order to build your profile & portfolio.
Can I upload my images, details and portfolio by myself?
Yes. After you pay your membership, you will receive your User name and Password for your Log In. You have 24/7 access.
